Fall 2020 virtual ESOL classes

Conversation Circles - extra conversation time once a week

  • Fort Vancouver Regional Library: English Conversation Circle

  • Wilsonville Library : English Conversation Group.

    • Monday evenings 6-7:30 PM. Free. No registration, but for the Zoom invite, email the Deborah Gitlitz at: gitlitz@wilsonvillelibrary.org or call 503-570-1582.


Community Colleges offer structured 11-week low-cost online classes. Register now to take a placement test for fall quarter.


Community Classes

  • Multnomah University Community ESOL -https://communityesolorg.wordpress.com/

    • Beginner, intermediate, & advanced classes. Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm. Classes start Sept. 9th. Please register by August 26th.

  • Beaverton Literacy Council - Start Sept 21. https://www.beavertonliteracy.org/students

    • 2 days per week (Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays)

    • Mornings, afternoons or evenings (A.M. or P.M.) Free Class- $15 for book.


One-on-one tutoring

  • ESL Companions Language Partners 1:1 - https://www.eslc.us/

    • ESL Companions (ESLC) is an online (and hopefully in-home in the future) ESL service that matches trained volunteers with families and individuals seeking to learn English.  (accepting volunteer tutors as well)
